ELIZABETH RIDGE 2008

Last weekend we stayed in Coalville overnight and then drove up above Evanston to go riding. Everything was going well until we got about 17 miles up the mountain and Parkers frame on his four wheeler broke. Trent tied the frame together so that him and Parker could tow it back down the mountain with our other four wheeler. I rode with one of our friends to ride over the ridge of the mountain and as we were heading back another friend of ours flew over her handle bars and broke her arm . We made a splint with a coat and some bungee cords and brought her down the mountain to go the hospital. When we finally made it down with our injured friend , Parker and Joe rode up the road to find Trent and the guys who had driven a truck up to meet us , to tell them to come back because we had already made it back down and as Parker was speeding down the dirt road a huge moose jumped out in front of him and he had to swerve not to run straight into him. It scared the moose as much as Parker and the moose ran back into the tree's. Just as everybody made it off of the mountain a huge storm hit and there was a beautiful rainbow over us and we loaded up the ATV's and called it a crazy day.

I'm glad everyone made it home safe, if not unharmed! I'm not so sure your family chose a wise activity to bond with, considering your luck LOL

Do you guys feel like you're playing poker every time you go out riding? "We've got a pair of threes; let's go riding this weekend!" Maybe you guys should try another family hobby, like reading...but then you have to deal with all the papercuts; may as well stay with 4-wheelin'.

Somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds fly...if birds fly over the rainbow why then, oh why can't I.
