Christmas morning 2008

Sara and Parker on Christmas morning this year.Parker asked for new,big speakers for his car to go with his new stereo(the bigger and louder the better)and Sara had asked for a "chi" hair straightener so she can quit stealing mine out of my bathroom and me having to go back to her bathroom and bring it back up for me to use. We all opened the rest of their gifts and then we headed to Newmans for breakfast and opening more gifts.

Christmas Eve 2008

On Christmas Eve every year we have two traditions---going to dinner with my side of the family (here is a pic of Brett,Beth,Jenna and Brea at Tepanyaki) which Sara and I eat at and then heading to Trents parents house for another dinner , which Trent and Parker eat at.Following our dinner at Newman's,the kids unwrap their new pj's from Grandma Newman and then we take our Christmas Eve family photo so here is this years(sorry Marnie's eyes are closed--it was the only pic I had).

3 Dogs just "hangin out"

So this is how the dogs feel during the holidays too--just "pooped out". Must have had a very busy day barking .

Dallin and Tessa

Here are some fun pics of Dallin and Tessa a few weeks ago when they got to come play at our house while their parents went to a movie for a few hours.Tessa had a lot of fun with the dogs and Dallin enjoyed eating both of his kids meals--he was very hungry.

Sara turned "20" on Dec. 3rd and yes I know--"I must be really old then". Grandma Newman made her yummy dessert and I of course forgot to bring any candles(so we pretended).Parker gave her the "elf" movie she had wanted and her sweet boyfriend Zach(who is in the marines and stationed in Japan right now) sent her a dozen beautiful roses and a dozen birthday balloons.Jax(Grandma Newman's pug) wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday also.

Some new family pics!

Jack November 2008

Jack came to celebrate Parkers birthday last night. He is 6 months old now and so cute!

Parker's 17th Birthday

How can Parker really be 17 already(I'm only 29-lol)and why can't we just stop aging and having birthdays when we decide? I guess it's time for me to quit calling him "baby parker"--but then again maybe not.

HALLOWEEN 2008

Sara and Parker had a few friends over for a Halloween party last night. There were lots of fun costumes and a lot of goofing off that didn't end until about 3 am (but no trouble--which is always a good thing when you have a group of teenagers together). As you can see, Sara was a ladybug and by the end of the night Parker even tried to be a ladybug.

Carving Pumpkins 08

We carved pumpkins on saturday and I don't know who was more disgusted with the pumpkin seeds--Christopher or Ford. They may not have liked the gooey mess but I think that everyone had fun anyway.

Let us out! Oct. 2008

Christopher, Gretta, Taz, and Ford trying to figure out an "escape" plan.

Camping in snow???

Who goes camping in the snow? We do! Well, not on purpose. We had been watching the weather all week and the snow wasnt supposed to arrive until late sat. night or sun. morning so we figured we would be ok to go friday and ride and come home saturday if it got too cold. Needless to say, we rode friday afternoon and woke up to snow saturday morning . Parker decided it was much warmer in the motorhome in a sleeping bag. All in all, it was worth the trip to be able to ride for a day and we didnt freeze to death.Maybe it will be warmer next weekend and we can try again.
